Sometimes marketing needs an outsider's point of view to regain perspective.

I know about people. My work life has encompassed many fields and businesses.

If you want to reach your visitors, really reach them, my trained ear will help you discover the voice and language to do precisely that. My technical web training will help improve your website's capacity to fulfill its purpose.

And since your website is your face and the window you have open to the world, we'll also discover whether people are seeing you and your brand as you want to be seen.

Then - if needed - I can help you put it right.

I'm creative, not conventional. I see into things. Behind things.

I lived and worked in Europe for over thirty years. Training as a theatre director in London taught me to listen to the what's under all the things people say. When I found I was too shy for the theatre, I looked for another way to use these skills.

I've always been a writer. Before long, I was doing big-league qualitative research for Millward Brown (now part of Kantar.) I conducted projects and wrote presentations and papers for companies across the world. FMCG; business and retail banking; travel and tourism. Eco-housing and provisi

I sharpened advertising copy and concepts for organizations across Europe, Asia and the US. Governments, too. I spent five years working for the UK water companies and their regulators when they were privatized. Later, I ran a small consultancy. Clients sent me to report on how people responded to new situations, products, and advertising. Then I worked for the Scottish and UK governments on social, education and housing research and on tourism in places like Hong Kong and the Shetland Islands Meanwhile, I developed my own values and approach to business. I am passionate about sustainable living and sustainability in business. About health and quality of life. About addressing our reliance on oil. Alongside commercial work, I studied meditation and mindfulness and practiced as a Gestalt therapist for ten years. Most recently, I worked in the psych department of a Boston teaching hospital.
